# Troubleshooting

> Resolve console, workflow, media, and API setup problems.

| Problem | What to check |
| - | - |
| A page or action is missing | Select the right organization and check role permissions with an owner or administrator. |
| Sensitive action requests a new sign-in | Use **Account settings → Sensitive access → Refresh access**. |
| No voice or face is selectable | Check Models and organization access. Choose the voice first; use Audio only if no compatible face is available. |
| Microphone is unavailable | Allow browser and operating-system access, use HTTPS outside local development, and select the correct input device. |
| No remote audio | Start from a user interaction and check speaker output and browser audio permissions. |
| Session is starting slowly | Wait for the current attempt to finish. Avoid repeatedly launching new sessions. |
| A workflow input source is unavailable | Match field types and make sure the source exists on every incoming route. See [Data and routing](https://docs.livefaces.ai/workflows/data-and-routing.md). |
| A tool is absent in the workflow picker | Check its active connection, discovered tools, approval, and selected revision. |
| Workflow will not test or publish | Resolve issues in the canvas panel and select a compatible workflow voice. |
| Published behavior has not changed | Update your application's selected published revision UUID after publishing. |
| Saved transcript is incomplete | Allow time for saving and check the organization's recording settings. |
| API rejects the request | Check [errors and retries](https://docs.livefaces.ai/api/errors.md), especially scopes, IDs, and the required idempotency header. |

For API support, include the request ID, HTTP status, and session ID when available. Include the failing workflow step and outcome for authoring problems. Remove credentials and sensitive participant information before sharing details.
