Build this first: Start → Collect information → Run task agent → Say / Message → End. Keep a Failure end for errors and timeouts.

1. Create and configure

Open Workflows and choose Customer support. Name the workflow. Under Workflow settings, choose a Workflow voice, an optional Workflow face, and an appropriate maximum time. The support template starts with a collection step for an order number and issue. Other templates are Blank workflow and Interview and grading.

2. Collect the details

Select Collect information and use instructions such as:
Ask for the order number and the issue. Clarify missing details, read them back, and finish when both are confirmed. Do not invent an order number.
Under Output fields, make order_number and issue required text fields. Connect Start → next to this node.

3. Analyze the result

Select the collection node’s complete +, then choose Run task agent. In the inspector:
  • Select a provider and model available to your account.
  • Use Add input from earlier data to add the collected issue.
  • Define a required text output named summary.
  • Set instructions: “Summarize the supplied issue in one sentence. Use only the provided facts and return it as summary.”
The task agent works on its supplied inputs. Bind a step’s Transcript explicitly when you need the actual conversation.

4. Deliver the result

Add Say / Message after the agent’s complete outcome. Add an input from the agent’s summary output. Use Insert message variable to insert that input into:
Thank you. Here is the issue I recorded: {summary}
Route complete to an End with status completed.

5. Check every path

Keep exactly one End with status failed. Unconnected error and timeout outcomes will use it. Open the issues panel and resolve missing connections, unavailable inputs, and model choices. Click Test, provide any workflow inputs, and choose Start test conversation. Review the collected fields and summary before publishing.
